As one of the Provider Report Card Performance Indicators, Issues provide cumulative performance data to providers and identify opportunities and challenges to providing high quality services to people with disabilities in the District.
Open Issues
Like recommendations, these are a moving target because issues are closed every day. The count of open issues on your organization’s Provider Report Card is the number of open issues (both Provider AND Individual issues) on the date the data was pulled. This is typically within one week of the distribution of the Report Cards. It is possible for the number of open issues reported on your organization’s Report Card to be different from the number of open issues on the day your organization receives the Report Card. This indicator does not necessarily reflect provider performance, but is another way for DDA to communicate the number of issues open.
Overdue Issues
Also like recommendations, this indicator reports the number of issues that are open at the time the data was pulled and past their due date. Again, it is possible for issues to be closed between the time the data is pulled and the time your organization receives the Report Card.
Closed Issues
This is the number of issues assigned to your organization that were closed during the time period specified in the Report Card. This indicator ONLY considers closed issues.
Closing Issues On-Time
Similar to recommendations, issues are assigned a due date at the time they are accepted into MCIS by the IRC. Issues are considered closed on-time if they are closed on or before that due date. The percentage of issues that were closed during the time period specified in the Report Card, and closed on-time is reported.
