This meeting will have two parts:
1. Questions and discussion about coordination of services and supports across the lifespan
2. Questions and discussion about the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families in DC (facilitated by our partners at the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services – NASDDDS)

Person-Centered Thinking

Person-centered thinking is a philosophy behind service provision that supports positive control and self-direction of people’s own lives. DDS is working to implement this through training sessions and other agency wide initiatives.

Employment First Initiative
