The Community Resource Fair offers D.C. residents with disabilities an unique opportunity to learn about and connect with a wide array of services available from various agencies and organizations throughout the region. It also provides businesses and community organizations an opportunity to learn about disability programs and services. The goal of the event is to help participants achieve inclusive prosperity through relationship building, community integration, and employment.

The Department on Disability Services supports people with disabilities in having choice and control over their lives. The Community Resource Fair is one activity designed to support people with disabilities in living as independently as possible as contributing members of their families, schools, workplaces, and neighborhood across the District.
