Meeting with Department of Healthcare Finance (DHCF) and Health Services for Children with Special Needs (HSCSN)

DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) heard from families about their experiences with accessing health care in the District of Columbia. This meeting was the onset of discussions with DHCF on important issues to DC families on accessing health services including supports from the Health Services for Children with Special Needs, Inc., an affiliation of the HSC Health Care System which has been integrated with Children’s National. DC FSC welcomed the participation of HSCSN and Medicaid enrollees with IDD, parents, and family members to ask their questions and share their concerns for quality health care for their families.
