During the public health emergency, staff from the Department on Disability Services and Department of Behavioral Health collaborated on a project to promote the use of video resumes. A video resume provides a visual way to show a job applicant's work experiences, qualifications, and interests to a prospective employer in video form. It can be thought of as an accommodation for people who want to most effectively connect with a potential employer in a way that highlights all that they have to offer.
A video resume covers the same areas as a printed resume, using video clips to highlight a person’s skills and experiences. Below, you will find links to a training on how to create a video resume and two videos, which are examples of a video resume created by the project’s team, featuring a DDS staff member.”
